Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2
Grade: A
I'm not sure anyone even needs a review of this movie. If you love Harry Potter, you are going to love this movie. I think it's the best one of the lot. They certainly did this one right and ended the series on a very high note.
We did see it in 3D and there were some early moments in the film where it really did add to the viewing experience. The scene, deep inside Gringott's bank, was especially entertaining in 3D, but for the most part of this story, it wasn't needed. I'd like to see it again and this time without the 3D so I can just focus on the story.
If you haven't seen it yet, what in the world are you waiting. Go...go right now and have some popcorn for me.
What is Mush Push? Well, the official definition is the soft creamy sauce left when you give your bowl of ice cream a good stir. To us it means all the wonderful things we love and want to share.

As promised, here are some of my favorite vacation photos.
We rented a wonderful house near Tawas City (Michigan...of course) and it was just lovely. Worked out great for us and we hope to rent it again next year.
Since the house is on Lake Huron, you get beautiful sunrises and I managed to wake up early enough one morning to catch some of it. I do still need to work on sunrise photo-taking skills.
And here's some miscellaneous moments that made me smile:
Cousins
Do you think Ryan loves his Uncle Rick?
And finally, Oma getting Luke kisses
Rick texted all of us this week to ask if any of us were ready to go back to the beach and the resounding answer was "YES!"

We're Back and The 17 Day Diet Update #4
Were are back from our wonderful "Up North" vacation. The house we rented was spectacular and we couldn't have asked for better weather. I promise to post pictures soon.
On the diet front, the first stage of the 17 Day Diet plan ran out on the first day of our vacation. Krissy and I both suspended the dieting for the vacation week, but kept some of the concepts going including long walks on the beach.
I was pleased to come back and find out I was only about a half a pound from where I was before the vacation started. I was able to maintain a 5 pound lose over the week. This week, I'm moving on to the 2nd stage, although I have to admit I'm not being super rigid as I only want to lose a few pounds more. I am keeping the exercise up and was able to jog about a mile today. This has been a goal of mine and I feel pretty good that I can do it.
