It has been so long since I've made a card and submitted it CPS that I almost forgot how to do it. Well, not really.
Here was the sketch:
And here is my interpretation:
Best part about this card is that I was able to use some old stuff and some new stuff. (I recently found a really great scrapbooking store not to far from my house.) It also only took me about 15 minutes to make. It's funny how new stuff is inspiring.
Very impressed! Hope you enjoyed this stunning 1st day of June, hopefully the 1st of many :)
ReplyDeleteI need some inspiration for scrapbooking. I haven't touched my stuff in months. I have gotten so lazy, I buy all my cards now. But they are nowhere as cute as this one you made! Very elegant indeed.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and elegant!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely and great job on the CPS sketch this week :)
ReplyDeletePretty pretty. I need to get creative this weekend!! You've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteIn person this card looks even more elegant. Nice job Linda! I know Ti will like it.
ReplyDeleteOne of my best card-making moments was when my friend and co-worker Kathy said to me "I'm going to stop buying cards and just tell you when I need a card". That meant the world to me.
ReplyDeleteThis card was requested by Kathy for one of our customers who recently got married.
Makes me happy.
Love the yellow and the background paper. Your cards are always lovely and I can't believe it took you 15 minutes! I remember I bought all this Stampin'Up stuff and my sister and I spent literally all night long making a set of holiday cards. I think each must have taken close to an hour. The CPS prompt idea is so cool. It must be inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI would love for you to link it up to my party that is running now. Any linky goes.

Come strut your stuff.
What a great card, nice use of that CPS sketch too.
